4.5 stars ! Read as to why! Great service by our server. We came with a big party (10) despite how chaotic the party was, our server was professional and very patient. The meats were great and had good selection. They were seasoned really well and had great flavor. The deduction of star is just due to lack of options for sides.

Hey fellow Google Mappers! This was my first time going to Iron Age location in Glenview, IL. I went with my boyfriend, my parents, my uncle, & my aunt. We went around 11:30 am - 12 pm and it wasn’t busy which was awesome. We were waiting for my parents to come, but the waiter seated us. ⭐ Customer Service: The staff were friendly. We were seated right away. The waiters were awesome about giving us our food and switching out the grill plate when it needed to be switched out. Food/Drinks: The food was really good! I only had Korean BBQ one other time in my life and I thought it was good, but I think Iron Age may be my go-to Korean BBQ spot. Bathroom: The bathrooms are located towards the back of the restaurant. They were very clean. In the ladies room, there are only 3 stalls. Overall Experience: Overall, I had a great experience at Iron Age at the Glenview, IL location. The staff were friendly, it was clean, & delicious food. I hope this review helps Iron Age in the Glenview location, Iron Age in general, & its current and future customers. Have an amazing day!

I usually enjoy coming to this Iron Age location whenever I crave all-you-can-eat Korean BBQ. I visited on a Monday night close to 10 PM. Their website says they close at midnight, so I thought I still had time to dine. However, when I arrived around 9:45 PM, I was informed that the kitchen would be closing at 10:00 PM and I needed to place my order quickly. I understand that everyone wants to wrap up their shift and go home, and I truly respect that. At the same time, I drove quite a distance and was genuinely hungry. I didn’t mean to cause any trouble or inconvenience I simply followed the hours posted online. At first, I felt that the staff wasn’t too thrilled with my late arrival, which I can understand. Still, I did my best to order only what I could reasonably finish and tried to be mindful. I didn’t get to enjoy the full experience this time, but the food I had was still very tasty. What I really appreciate about this location is that they use a fresh grill top each time you cook different meats something that makes this branch stand out from others. That’s why I chose to come here. Overall, a good experience with room for improvement in communication about last call times. I’ll definitely be back just a bit earlier next time.

I had an amazing first experience at Iron Age in Glenview! Everything from the atmosphere to the food was fantastic. The Hawaiian-style beef was a standout—perfectly marinated, tender, and packed with flavor. The rice cakes were also incredibly tasty—chewy, crispy, and addictive! I want to give a special shout-out to our server, J.O., who was absolutely phenomenal. Super attentive, friendly, and made sure everything was running smoothly the entire time. Service like that really elevates a meal! I was actually introduced to Iron Age by my son—it’s his favorite place to eat, and now I can absolutely see why. We’ll definitely be coming back. Highly recommend it to anyone looking for a fun, flavorful, and satisfying Korean BBQ experience!

Iron Age Korean BBQ in Glenview is definitely a unique experience and worth checking out if you’re into K-BBQ. For $29 per person, you get unlimited meat brought straight to your table, and you grill it yourself - fun and super satisfying. They’ve got a big variety of meats. Our favorites were the beef bulgogi (easily the standout), the seasoned steak (also really good), and the Iron Age soy beef steak, which had great flavor. We also tried the lemon chicken - it was just okay, didn’t really stand out compared to the others. Don’t be fooled into thinking you can power through unlimited rounds - we thought we could eat way more, but once you’re into your third meat, you feel it. It’s definitely filling! They offer sides too. A lot of people recommended the spicy rice cakes, so we gave them a shot, but honestly, we didn’t like the texture - kind of spongy and not our thing. I’d personally skip those next time. The atmosphere is something else — loud K-pop music videos projected all around, almost like eating in a club. We actually liked the high-energy vibe, but it’s definitely not for everyone. If you’re looking for a quiet dinner, this might not be your scene. They also serve different types of radish as sides at the table, and I personally loved those. Again, that might be hit or miss depending on your taste. My family didn’t like it. Service was top-notch — super friendly staff who kept things moving and checked in often. Just a heads-up: you can’t make a reservation, and this place gets busy. We had to wait about 40 minutes on a weekend night, but it still felt totally worth it. Overall, I’d definitely recommend giving it a try — great food, fun experience, and solid service. Just go hungry and maybe bring a little patience for the wait!

This Korean BBQ joint left me with some mixed thoughts, but overall, it was a pretty good experience. The service was good, the food was good, and the ambiance was nice, making for a pleasant meal. Plus, the prices seemed fair for what you get. Here's the thing: it wasn't quite the truly authentic Korean BBQ experience I usually look for. They didn't have staples like Kalbi short ribs, and surprisingly, no lettuce wraps for the meat, which is a bit of a bummer for traditionalists. However, I was glad to see they did offer some banchan side dishes to enjoy with the meal, which definitely added to the experience. While I liked my visit, and everything was solid, I'm not entirely sure what would draw me back for a second visit specifically for Korean BBQ given the slight deviations from what I consider authentic. If you're looking for a good meal with a nice atmosphere, it's worth a try, just manage your expectations if you're a purist!
